I'm in my 19th year of radio and television broadcasting and I'm unhappy to report that the salaries in the industry haven't gone up since the day I stepped into the business.  So why stick around?  Simple.  Chicks dig guys who make $5.00/hr.   After working in three TV markets and five radio markets I accidentally took a wrong turn on I-75, stopped at the Palm Beach Boulevard Exit to fill up the gas tank and ended up moving here to Fort Myers back in 2000.  Since then I've enjoyed being a part of the southwest Florida sports landscape through both the radio and television biz.   The Jon Linder Show debuted on 770 ESPN Radio back in October of 2004 and we've enjoyed four great years of opinions, guests, giveaways and of course your phone calls.  Currently I live in Miami with my wife and kids and I work fulltime at Sportsradio 560 WQAM as a Talk Show Host and Sports Reporter.  But on Sunday mornings its all about southwest Florida for me as we bring you The Jon Linder Show on 770 ESPN Radio.  Feel free to drop by this weekend.
